This cute little dog, Teebo, was chained up outside a vacant house in the scorching hot sunshine with no food or water in Greece. Luckily, a friend of mine with a big heart found him and set the wheels in motion with the help of a wonderful lady, Lorna Shea from the charity, Rhodes to UK Animal Adoption Service, to bring him back to the UK and give him a happy forever home. Teebo had a lot of problems when he arrived in the UK and required lots of operations to sort him out. I created a poster with a little picture of him to introduce him to the people who could get involved in a fund raising afternoon of dog shows as well as the usual raffle and tombolas. Despite it not being great weather, a Tuesday afternoon and in the garden of a local pub, 300 dogs turned up to strut their stuff at the event to raise money for the expensive vet bills and to support another animal charity, The SHAK Sanctuary. The charity rely solely on the generous donations of others and help animals find their happy ever afters. I’m happy to say that Teebo has now found his.
