Project Description
I’d always loved the metamorphosis of the flowers in my garden turning from vibrant glorious blooms to the dried out natural colours in autumn ready for deadheading. Get me, the least green fingered person you’d ever meet.
When I got the brief Charming Chintz, I knew I was going to use them in my pattern collection.
Having to leave a home I’d lived in my whole life after a personal loss, I was not only grieving for the loss but also for the house and the lives lived in it. There was only ever going to be one suitable name for this collection.
This collection is a contemporary take on the intricate charm and whimsy of chintz using the natural elements of blooms and dried florals from my childhood garden.
I miss you Rothbury.
