Project Description

This mini collection is inspired by the garden of one of my oldest neighbours. Every time I passed their garden I wanted to draw their flowers. They invited me to take photos one afternoon and I knew it would end up being a pattern collection some day when the perfect brief came along.

That day came when the Boisterous Blooms brief arrived. The brief required eye catching, bold floral arrangements bursting with colour and life. Embracing something more unexpected. It could even allow the less than perfect petals a space to shine. This had to be the one.

A trend breaking away from the traditional delicate floral aesthetic and instead embracing maximalist full blooms full of personality densely packed together. Is there anything more boisterous than that?
