I’m Lindsay, owner, illustrator and creative problem solver at Slinkeee Illustration. I’m a licensed print and pattern surface designer and illustrator working and living in the beautiful county of Northumberland on the North East coast of the UK.
I love to help brands tell their story and brighten up peoples lives with colourful illustrations. I love animals, nature, the beach and drinking copious amounts of tea. You’ll see lots of nature related influences in my work because it’s where I love to spend my downtime.
I’ve been drawing my whole life but professionally for over 25 years, first in a studio and now for myself. In that time I’ve been lucky enough to work on lots of licensed branded products for a wide range of lovely clients. I also get to create original artwork of my own for clients and I now sell my own merchandise on various platforms as well as licensing my artwork.
I’ve won six business awards, Theo Paphitis SBS (Small Business Sunday), Jacqueline Gold WOW (Women On Wednesday), a Northern Enterprise Award for Most Creative Freelance Illustrator 2022, South East Northumberland which I won again in 2023, Best Digital Illustration Designer 2024 – North East England and Freelance Illustrator of the Year 2024 – North East.
I have recently become an Adobe Certified Professional in Professional Video Design, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
